At present, the sole JV project in China formed by Fast and Caterpillar-Xi’an FC Intelligence Transmission Co., Ltd. has been formally signed in Xi’an. After the project is completed, the production capacity will grow up to 120,000 units of HD automatic transmissions and 1.5 million pieces of construction machinery parts for export. It is the first of its kind in China and breaks the pattern of dependence on imported HD hydraulic automatic transmissions entirely. Also it provides the latest optimized configuration for the safety, reliability, comfort and environmental protection of Chinese HD commercial vehicles. At the same time, the F-Shift AMT products jointly developed by Fast and WABCO have been fully launched on the market. The F-Shift HD AMT series products have completed 500,000 km field tests on all kinds of road conditions such as, high temperature, high latitude, high cold, mountain areas, etc. and all kinds of loading tests. It has been installed onto the test vehicles of some vehicle manufacturers and proved to having obvious advantages of high price, good fuel economy, reliable operation, good machining, energy saving and eco-friendly, fitting for Chinese situation, etc.. Meantime, it further improved vehicle’s safety, comfort and drive efficiency, and won wide apprise from users. Currently, F-Shift AMT series products have formed the annual production capability of 10,000 units.
