On the evening of Jul.6^th, 2010, the IT Center and the Education Training Section jointly organized a training on the operation of the enterprise information portal in Xi’an West-suburb Plant. Board Chairman Li Dakai, Party Secretary Cui Weike and the other members from the top management as well as all the middle-class cadres attended the training.

The training detailed the operation and usage methods of the enterprise information portal with vivid pictures, characters and diagrams and by combining the concrete businesses of the group. It also made an on-the-spot demonstration on how to use it. The portal is a brand-new information-based platform which has built the knowledge management system and improved the support of decision-making. It integrates the dispersed resources and contents, effectively uses them to arrange work and further improves the work efficiency and the ability of decision-making.

Board Chairman Li made an important speech in the training. He illustrated the significance of the establishment and usage of the enterprise information portal and put forward the specific requirements of launching the portal in an all-around way. Chairman Li pointed out that the establishment and usage of the portal play a proactive role in improving the work efficiency, reducing the cost and fully strengthening the information communications; all the management team and cadres should take the lead to change thoughts, lead the employees to change the traditional working habits, to make full use of the resources to study and improve their business level; meanwhile, all the employees should maintain confidentiality at all the times and prevent the disclosure of corporate secrets. Chairman Li urges all the departments to attach great importance to the construction and application of the enterprise information portal, to accelerate the pace of launching of the portal in four plants of the two cities, and to promote the corporate information-based management level to a new step by their action.
