Several days ago, our company was identified as Mechanical and Electrical Products A-Class Importer by Shaanxi Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. From that on, Shaanxi Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and the related departments will conduct A-Class management for the mechanical and electrical products imported by our company.
Following the related laws and regulations and also according to the importer’s management level, credit, annual import scale and imported product risk grades, importers of mechanical and electrical products are classified into A, B and C classes. Field inspection rate for A-Class importers is no less than 10% of annual total batches, no less than 30% for B-class and 100% for C-Class. In 2009, we belonged to B-class, and the field inspection rate was 30% or above for all the imported mechanical and electrical products. The Equipment and Energy Assurance Department of our company submitted the application and related documents to Shaanxi Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau aiming to have an upgrade. After verification, we were approved to be grouped into A-class.
After the upgrade, we will have fewer inspection procedures, fewer expenses but less time. The imported equipment will have a shorter time to arrive at our plant, and timely be installed for production. |
