Dear employees and the family members:
As Chinese Spring Festival is approaching, the Board of Directors, the Party Committee, the Management Team and the Labor Union of Fast Group send the festival greetings and wishes to all the employees, the family members and the retired comrades. We express heartfelt thanks and high respects to all the employees for your proactive contribution to the rapid development of the enterprise in the past year. In 2009, under the correct leadership of the Board of Directors, the Party Committee and the Management Team of Fast Group, we conquered the challenges and seized the opportunities, stood against the severe test of the global financial crisis and the market competition, and realized new historical breakthroughs in production and operation. Each economic index has ranked 1st in Chinese Gear Industry for eight consecutive years. The annual output and sales of HD transmissions have leapt to the first place in the world for four consecutive years. All the achievements are attributed to the persistent efforts of all the employees and are also inseparable with the great support of the family members.
The past year was fruitful. We won the title of the National Top 10 SOEs’ Models and the qualification of the State-Level Enterprise Technical Center; brand name of Fast transmissions were rewarded the Fuel Efficiency Achievement Award and the Best Fuel-Efficiency Transmissions; the 200 millionth transmission product was successfully off the production line, and by deeply developing activities of “Rectification and Promotion Year” and lean production, we made impressive performances in scientific & technological innovations, product research & development, market opening-up, production & operation, quality improvement, cost control and brand name construction. We’ve further built up the superiorities in scientific & technological innovations, brand name, market competition, equipment manufacture and scale development.
Leaders from the Party and the State have paid high attention to the achievements we’ve made in reform and innovative development. Central committee leaders Hu Jintao, Wu Bangguo, Wen Jiabao, Jia Qinglin, Li Changchun, Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, Zhou Yongkang, etc. visited us successively and fully affirmed the orientation of the company in reform and development. During his visit, President Hu Jintao encouraged us to keep on independent innovation and continuously enhance the ability of innovation, to re-innovate on the basis of the introduction, digestion and absorption of overseas advanced technologies, to develop more core technologies with our own intellectual property, and to enhance the competitiveness of the enterprise. His remarks are inspiring and we are more confident and determined in advancing and in the scientific development.
In the new year, we are faced with both rare opportunities and new challenges and tests. We must seriously implement the guidelines put forward by President Hu and the arrangements from the Board of Directors and the Management Team of Fast Group, further accelerate product structure adjustment and innovative development, continuously build up our brand name and strive to catch up with and surpass the world’s advanced level. We must deeply develop the activity of “KTJ Promotion Year”, push lean production and management in an all-round way, and strive to make contributions in the activity. We must uphold the concept of scientific development, further speed up improvements and promotion, and unceasingly consolidate the predominance of Fast brand name. We will give full play to the advantages in scientific & technological innovation, product research & development, equipment manufacture, financial fund, human resources, brand name and customer services, optimize the resources in a scientific way, fully promote the core competitiveness, and drive the enterprise to have new and bigger development with practical actions.
We should set sail for the great cause and write a new chapter of scientific development. In the new year, the Board of Directors, the Party Committee, the Management Team and the Labor Union of Fast Group hope that all the employees can take the activity of “KTJ Promotion Year” as the theme, maintain the spirits of hard working, teaming up, bravely practicing and innovating, and we can stand at the new starting point, grasp new opportunities, create new development situation, make new growth and brilliance, and we have make our life even better.
