The 25th of January is an exciting day for all Fast employees. On this very day, Hu Jintao, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, the President of PRC and Chairman of the Military Commission of the Central Committee, paid a visit to our Hi-Tech Plant, which absolutely gave great concerns and encouragement to all the employees. With the accompany of Board Chairman Li Dakai and Secretary Cui Weike and in the exciting eyes of the employees, President Hu visited the new product exhibition area, the modernized manufacturing equipment and made an understanding of the performance and features of the product. He smiled with great satisfaction when learning that each economic index of our company has ranked 1st in Chinese Gear Industry for eight consecutive years and the annual output and sales of HD transmissions have leapt to the first place in the world for four consecutive years. “It’s really not easy making such a great development. You set a good example to all the state-owned enterprises in reform & development,” President Hu praised when learning that we are keeping the four plants of two cities enjoying a synchronous and harmonious development.  

“Here he comes! How are you doing, the President!” all the workers cheered up! President Hu waved to greet with gentle smile on his face. He stepped up to shake hands with the workers, asked questions on their living and working conditions, and encouraged them to work hard so as to make more contribution to the development of the national automotive industry. The President’s kindly face and cordial encouragement and the wonderful moments deeply impressed the employees, which will be a permanent lift and infinite benefits for all the employees.

The tenaciousness of Fast people casts Fast miracle and Fast miracle forges Fast brilliance. The achievements we’ve made in reform, innovative and scientific development have attracted the care and attention of the Party and the state leaders. President Hu Jintao comes, and so do Premier Wen Jiabao, and the other central leaders such as Jia Qinglin, Li Changchun, Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang and Zhou Yongkang. Their visits are definitely the greatest encouragement, the biggest support, the topmost affirmation and honor to us.

Kindly concerns and tremendous encouragement. President Hu’s visit offers a beacon for us to innovate and to develop. We are so determined and confident in facing the challenges and difficulties ahead.
