A few days ago, on 2009 annual meeting of gear association and the general meeting of the fifth member of gear association, Gear Professional Association of China had given a decision about commending excellent enterprise and personal of gear industry of China in twenty years. Our company and 8 enterprises had the honor to win the prize of development & progress of gear-manufacturing enterprise. Mr. Li Dakai chairman of the board and other 11 enterprisers had the honor to win the contribution prize of gear industry work.
Commending decision pointed out: “Gear Professional Association of China have gone marvelous developing course of 20 years and jointly experienced transform from plan economy to market economy. With the development of high speed of national economy, the annual sales of whole industry had broken through ￥100,000,000,000 Yuan (RMB) and ranked third big country in gear industry of the world, formed industry pattern of coexisting of many economy ingredient in enterprise and jointly developing. Among them, dominant enterprises and backbone enterprises have become an important strength to give impetus to level of industry management, product technical quality level and promoting of independent innovation capacity, made a wonderful contribution for being built a powerful country to manufacture gears from a big country to manufacture gear.”
Li Dakai, chairman of Gear Professional Association of China, made an important speech on annual meeting of Gear Professional Association of China. He pointed out:” in dealing with financial crisis of whole world, we have experienced not only difficult test, but also realized better and faster development. It is because there are 3 different points compared with West Country, the first our country is biggest developing country and having powerful domestic requirement, the second, the financial system have not been destroyed in the same way as West Country, having abundant capital and low dull account rate and regular run, the third we have stanch leadership of The Party and Government and resolute & clipping system of making a strategic decision.
Mr. Li Dakai chairman said:” in 2008, output and sales of gear product of our country have reached ￥110,000,000,000 Yuan (RMB), ranks the third in the world. This year, USA ,Japan and other countries have been influenced by Financial crisis and sales has been reduced but our country has showed a going up trend and the order of our name still possibly been advanced. Now our country has become production big country of gear product but we are not still strong country of gear manufacturing. The characteristic of gear product of our country are overstock of product manufacturing capacity of low item, having explosive competition and product of high item depend importation considerably. trade deficit of import and export of gear product show a going up trend in straight line and trade deficit is bigger and bigger”.
“At same time, gear industry still has the problem of 3 attaching importance to and 3 looking down, that are that attaching importance to technical alteration and look down R & D, attaching importance to practical application and looking down base work, attaching importance to now looking down long-standing. If we don`t solve the problem of 3 attaching importance to and 3 looking down so manufacturing enterprise of China can make themselves being bigger but it is very difficult to make themselves being stronger. So the gear industry need take seriously to treat the problem of strengthening, intensifying & accelerating and 2 preventing works. strengthening, intensifying & accelerating works : the first is to strengthen independent R & D, solve the problem of 3 attaching important to and 3 looking down, the second is to intensify combination of producing, learning & research, combination of theory and practice, and capture technical difficult problem, the third is to accelerate reorganization step, forming a big enterprise group with competition force. 2 preventing works: the first is to prevent image project phenomenon, push the new technology and energy work. We need face ourselves capacity and level. The second is to prevent repeat building of low level, avoiding overstock of production capacity, advocating competition justly, fight against palming off and fake product”.
